I’m Grandmother Jonette Crowley, coming to you not from normal Colorado, but from the southwest coast of India. We’re in the province of Kerala. I’m at an Ayurvedic spa/clinic for two weeks of detoxing. It’s hot, humid, beautiful, and the sea is behind us.
BIG energies of February are going to pop later in the month. It’s all about realignment and ignition.
‘Groundhog Day’ February 2nd
Looking at the beginning of the month: on February 2nd in the United States, there’s a weird holiday called ‘Groundhog Day.’ A groundhog is like a land beaver without a tail. The legend says that when the groundhog comes out of its hole and sees its shadow, then there’s going to be six more weeks of winter.
Let us look at the idea of: if it sees its shadow, there’ll be six more weeks of winter. This is really an invitation for US to look at our shadows, and to be really drastically clear about your shadows.
We can see shadows in politics. We can see them out in the world. But it’s harder to see our own darkness. Let Groundhog Day will be a reminder to look at your shadows with a great deal of honesty, and question whether you want to drag those same ideals and ideas and reactions into the rest of 2026.
Fire Horse Chinese New Year, February 17
February is a huge energetic month. The big changes begin on February 17, which is the Chinese New Year: the year of ‘Fire Horse.’
Chinese New Year always starts on a new moon, but this new moon is also a solar eclipse—A ‘ring of fire’ or annular eclipse where the new moon’s shadow blocks the sun, showing up as a ring of fire.
I invite you to envision this Fire Horse jumping into our reality through a ring of fire. These new energies are fiery. They’re about ignition. They’re about unpredictability, fierceness, and rapid change. It’s about momentum. It’s about movement, sometimes about irreversible change.
Last time the Chinese year was Fire Horse was in 1966. Some of us remember 1966: that was the time of anti-war demonstrations, the civil rights movements in the United States. The hippie counterculture was being born. It was a time of the Cultural Revolution in China.
At the end of the 1960s, ‘flower power’ was asking us to re-look at things. So it’s about that same energy bursting out now.
The early part of the month is calm before the storm. This is when you look at your shadows and really center yourself in your light. (Which you should always do, right?).
Amplified Momentum in Collective
When the Fire Horse bursts out of its circular ring of fire, it is bringing an amplification of individuality and higher consciousness.
collective is showing us its darkness, its shadows. But as Fire Horse comes in, there will be a push for us to align our individuality with collective—but not the collective that we see, but the collective we’re giving birth to.
This year is about amplified momentum in the collective. We’ll see structures in collective changing, melting, morphing to be more in alignment with rise in higher consciousness that we’ve all been part of.
Think of this month as higher consciousness hits a stone wall. Maybe it’s not stone—maybe it’s a glass wall, something that shatters. That’s energy now.
With this amplification of momentum, it’s very important that you expand. Fire Horse energies are very expansive. Expand your consciousness, expand your love, expand your awareness. Get out of your smallness in every way!
Birth of Transcendent Self
I see this time as the birth of the Transcendent Self. And there’s no stopping it! It’s the path you’ve all been on, but now it’s going to be amplified even more.
This energy is re-creation of our identity. It calls us to come back to our spiritual self and to allow that to n be uploaded into the collective.
Fire Horse and Fire Hose
As I was writing my notes, I realized that “fire horse” and “fire hose” are the same words, except with “r” removed.
You might think of this month as drinking from a fire hose. The analogy is: a lot’s coming at us, and there’s more than we can process. So stand back and allow these changes to happen. We are directing them from our higher collective consciousness.
We’ll feel like timelines are compressing. What would have taken 20 years might take three months now.
Things that you haven’t looked at yet will be revealed. Old wounds, things you’ve been pressing down inside, are going to come up now.
energies now are accelerated enough that we don’t do Groundhog Day over and over again, like a movie where something was always repeating. We can actually clear and lift away from what’s been suppressed that is coming up now.
Walking through this ring-or-fire gate is an amazing opportunity in this fire gate, because we’re all doing it together.
White Horse Gatekeeper
As a Grandmother in Native tradition, I am keeper of a White Medicine Wheel, an esoteric, higher-dimensional medicine wheel with white power animals at each of the directions. The eastern gate, where the sun rises, is the entrance into this wheel and its higher-dimensional sacred space. It’s the gate where we enter into a new world.
As I first prepared my notes for this update, I was thinking that Fire Horse is a normal brown horse. But as I meditated, I saw that this year’s Fire Horse is white. This indicates that we’re stepping into a transcendent, higher-dimensional, mystical world— that’s nothing like the world we’re leaving.
Think of this Fire Horse as a gatekeeper to a new world, a new medicine wheel, a more spiritual cycle of reality.
Aries Point (February 20)
The second big shift for February—on 20th, only four days after the solar eclipse and Chinese New Year—is what astrologers are calling the Aries Point.
Aries Point is a new evolutionary cycle where Saturn, which is about structure, form, time, and karma, conjuncts with Neptune, which is about spirit, formlessness, and timelessness.
You can see that with this, we’re moving from old structured, 3D consciousness to a consciousness where time is different, where acceleration isn’t linear but is multi-linear, and where opportunity for growth is fast.
These two planets with opposite energies are conjunct at zero degrees Aries, which is the very beginning of the zodiac, a new cycle. Higher consciousness-- formless, timeless Neptune hits Saturn – old forms and structures we’ve been living with.
It’s also a movement from individual to collective consciousness. The higher spiritual consciousness that we’ve all been building individually is mapping itself, or impressing itself, onto the collective.
In the beginning, the collective won’t be ready for this resurgence of spiritual dimension onto forms and institutions that have been here for thousands of years and haven’t supported the collective, except through power, force, and control.
beginning stages are going to be rocky because this higher consciousness flows out into collective that’s formatted for old consciousness. We’re going to see changes in structure, changes in form, discomfort, things that fall apart.
There is no doubt that all of this is being created by higher consciousness, light, spirituality, soul that you’ve been standing in, standing for, and being.
This is the spreading of higher consciousness we’ve been building, ringing like church bells into the collective.
When I asked my guides how this will look, they quickly said: “It’s a ‘J ‘curve.”
A ‘J’ curve goes down a bit at first, but then it goes up like a ‘J,’ higher than it ever was before. So just hold on to your seats.
There will be some difficulty…and I don’t see details. But human consciousness is moving up to a level that we’ve never had before.
Your personal spiritual growth is going to feel more supported and more connected to the whole. structures are changing.

De-Fragging
I asked my guides for a vision of how we’re doing this reset, and I got a word from computer terminology: we are ‘defragging.’
If you remember back when computers were really slow, you ran a de-fragging (or de-fragmenting) program to reorganize all fragments of data that were scattered over your hard drive to make everything run faster.
Think of this month as a time of defragging. We’re running a program called higher consciousness / love / oneness, so it can clear up and smooth fragments that have been polarized and bring it all back into oneness.
Let’s look at the word “FRAG” to see what is behind our fragmentation.
“F” stands for Fear. Fear is our superficial or initial response to change. Think about it, our first response is almost always fear.
“R” is Reactivity, Reaction. It is action, but often an automatic or knee-jerk reaction—to help us not be so fearful. Watch your reactions. Notice that the word ‘REACTIVE’ can be totally changed by changing the position of ‘C’ from the middle to the beginning of the word. Now you have CREATIVE. So instead of reactivity, we move to creativity.
“A” is Anger. When we can’t fix something, what do we do? We get angry. Then we often keep feeding anger. We scroll and find others who are angry at the same thing. Anger is not helpful. It fragments us. It fragments our society. Please be aware of your anger this month.
“G” is Grief. Grief is the most deeply buried of our reactions. Often people stay in Fear, Reactivity and Anger because Grief is the most difficult emotion to process.
I invite you—earlier this month is better—to go into your Grief. Recognize it. Let it be your ally, not a demon. Ask yourself: what’s on or side of this Grief?
Let me give you an example: I’m a joyful person. I’m almost always truly happy. But yesterday I woke up here in paradise, in deep, deep grief. It wasn’t personal. There was no loss I could point to. It was an existential grief for humanity: “Oh no, here we go again.”
I allowed myself to feel it because it needed to be handled. I simply owned grief and wasn’t afraid of it. After ten minutes of sobbing, my vision opened and I saw great beings of what I call White Brotherhood, or white-robed ones. Luminous beings—were all around (not me) but our entire Mor Earth.
high, holy ones ARE here for you, for me, for our world. And we’ve got this! We’ve heralded this change. We’ve created this change. It’s happening especially in this February cycle.
A New Cycle of Zodiac
Adding to this power time, Saturn and Neptune are conjuncting at zero degrees Aries. This is often likened to the Fool’s card in a tarot deck. Fool, with his little bag on his shoulder, is standing on the edge of a cliff. But he’s looking up at the sky, oblivious to possible danger. All the cards in tarot have a number, but the Fool’s card is zero. It’s unknown. It’s uncharted.
This is why YOU were born now: to be here to jump out of endless cycles of karma and to break open to a new higher consciousness.
Valentine’s Day (Love)
The other important day in February is Valentine’s Day.
Let’s remember that this month is about love, and all changes that are happening are coming from love and to love.
This is a big month: based in love; looking at our shadows; watching Fire Horse burst out of ring-of-fire eclipse; and we have this Aries Point where a new spirituality is being born at the beginning of a new cycle.

Jonette mentioned Fire Horse as the beginning of this next Chinese New Year. But before the beginning of the Chinese New Year—February 17—we are still in the Year of the Snake. A snake is about to shed its skin. It’s about crawling around the ground, not quite sure of itself, but in the process, it is shedding an identity, shedding layers of old self, shedding ways of being and seeing parts of the world which no longer serve.
Once Fire Horse begins its radiant leap through universes, and to the extent that we have shed old skin, old identity, old fears, FRAG, n we can leap on that horse and just ride into infinity.
Once-in-a-Species Moment
It’s a dual process. We don’t get to realize the fullness of our potential unless we’ve done the work of clearing. This conjunction of Saturn and Neptune that Jonette spoke about—this is a once in 6000-year conjunction.
Saturn and Neptune meet every 130 years or so, but Saturn and Neptune meeting at zero degrees Aries hasn’t happened. As astrologer Steven Judd calls this: once-in-a-species moment. It’s extraordinary that all of this is happening in this year.
or thing that’s happening earlier this month is a massive full moon: full moon in Leo. What’s interesting about this full moon is that it’s opposing all planets that are now currently in Aquarius.
Right now re are seven major planets (all personal planets) crossing over Pluto—sextiling Neptune, trining Uranus, all conjuncting through Aquarius--which is the signature of New Age, new times.
We are moving out of the Age of Pisces, which has been about old religious structures which no longer serve us, to self-reflection, self-awareness, and self-identification with who we truly are, which is divinity, infinite consciousness.

In the bonus section, I’ll share more about the potential that we are awakening into that’s also extraordinary, especially April and July of this year, and n moving forward for the next seven-year cycle, and into an entire age of resurrection.
What some people refer to as ‘Homo Luminous’ or ‘Gaia Luminous’ is something entirely different. We have not experienced this in physical, human, or embodied form yet—ever. This is a new evolutionary gateway.
It’s a powerful time. I’m so grateful to be here with my beautiful sister Jonette, sharing this journey.
