Pluto and the Patriarchy Now

What we’re seeing in the world reflects the influence of Pluto, the most powerful energy of the zodiac. Pluto is all about what needs to be deconstructed and reborn, in our individual lives and culture at large.

Pluto is in the last few degrees of the Capricorn – the sign of patriarchy, power, top-down systems, dominating and often ruthless energies. Pluto has been in Capricorn for the last 15 years – since the Great Recession of 2008, plowing through the leadership and structures of world finance, business, government, and religion. Pluto will move into Aquarius in November of 2024 where the energies will be about innovation, freedom, equality, personal sovereignty, and justice.

Until then, we can expect to see the worst behavior in leaders. Behavior we have a hard time imagining. It’s a “last gasp” of power-mongering, sort of like a dog who is cornered and will fight to the death. But these leaders are sowing the seeds of their own destruction.

Pluto demands radical accountability. The best defense is to reveal what is happening and counter bad power with good. This is not a time to be a doormat!
